We Are so glad you made it // You are in exactly the right place.

You don’t get a redo of the best day yet. This is why you need a professional team you can trust. In order to ensure the utmost attention to detail, we take on just 12-15 events a year, and a maximum of two per month. That means, you are a priority at all times during the planning process and our sole focus when it comes to the weeks leading up to your big day or celebration week.

Our process is extremely personal. We get to know you, your story, and what makes you glow. We take the time to connect you with a hand selected team that will highlight you and make you feel like the kings or queens that you are meant to be. We believe in kindness to all humans, transparency through clear communication, and authentic love stories. Our work has been featured in International Publications such as Anti Bride and Together Journal. We have also been published in Wedding Chicks and Pensacola Magazine’s 2021 Print Wedding Issue.


THE A TEAM

The basis of “Your Plan A Events,” is this serendipitous occasion that is wholeheartedly meant just for you. There is no back up plan for what’s meant to be. We take logistics and crisis aversion seriously, so we are going to craft an epic Plan A for all angles of what could be. Our team has over a decade of experience in hospitality, events, and design to back those hard hitting decisions. We are calm, intentional, and have a damn good time doing what we love. It’s the aura that fills a room of happy people at the end of an epic dance party that does it for us. It’s the magic of feeling present and at ease from the moment you open your eyes, because you know Your Plan A is in action. That’s the A Team Mentality, we can’t wait for you to feel it.


Patricia Aro // Founder + Lead Planner

Patricia knew from her elementary years that event planning was her dream. She would cut up wedding magazines and screenshot images online to save to word documents on her computer that she would send on a weekly basis to her mom (think - a weekly content newsletter coming from your eight year old daughter centered around her someday wedding). Patricia was dedicated to the email craft early and wedding inspiration was no week long, short-term childhood attachment. This was all long before the essential element, her forever lover, came into the picture. She went to school at William & Mary and graduated with a degree in Business Administration. Her first career in the wedding and special events industry was working for an event firm in Washington D.C. in 2014, where she worked as a marketing manager and associate planner for Simply Breathe Events. 

In 2019, she and her “husbassistant”, Brandon moved to the Gulf Coast and founded Your Plan A Events. She now lives in and calls St. Augustine, Florida home.

Patricia has a chiller of a pup named Earl Grey. She and her husband rescued him in 2019 and they refer to him as their “first born.” He is the most lovable treeing walker coonhound there ever was. Patricia loves the rain, lavender oat milk lattes, stale Oreos, and burnt toast to name a few. 10/10 will choose a gin and tonic, margs, or bubbly over a cold beer. And, you can 100% find her devouring tacos in St. Augustine on her days away from events.

Kayla Landau // Lead Planner

Kayla is the most perfect blend of classy and sassy there ever was. Her journey with Patricia goes all the way back to Kindergarten. These two were destined for this duo-ship from the early days.

Kayla graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a Bachelor's in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology and a Minor in Community Health Science. Like many, she graduated from college with a degree that was not vividly directed towards what she always knew in her heart she wanted to pursue. For close to a decade Kayla worked in hospitality and customer service. Specifically, before making the jump to Your Plan A Events, she was a Lead Marketing Executive for Hilton. She had hopes of someday going after a lifelong dream of being a creative event designer. In 2020, when she realized it was time to channel her visions and make them a reality, she did just that with Your Plan A Events.

Kayla finds the most happiness in having an impact on others. Her home base is in Las Vegas, NV, and she is always ready to travel. Her bags have been to Amsterdam, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Estonia, Russia, Finland, Aruba, Mexico, St. Thomas, St. Martin, Jamaica, and the list goes on. Kayla has the most kind partner, Nick, and an adorable fluffy mini golden doodle named Maggie who both can't wait to meet you on Zoom. Kayla’s love for show tunes is showcased in her exuberance for everyday life and epic dance skills. On her days away from weddings, you will find her hiking red rock canyon or planning her next trip!
